7. Police skills, competency and eligibility
 
  Article 52-Core competencies  
52.1 Core competencies  
  The core competencies of a police officer are those minimum standards of skills and qualifications that enable a police officer to perform their duties. The following are the core minimum comptencies of any police officer:  
  Certificates  
  (i) That they have completed a high school level diploma;  
  (ii) That they have undertaken or are in the process of undertaking some university, technical or further education for which a certificate/diploma or degree shall be issued;  
  (iii) That they have a current passport and drivers license;  
  Skills  
  (i) That they can read and write to a high school level in the official language of United America;  
  (ii) That they are confident and capable at public speaking, debate and argument;  
  (iii) That they are proficient in the use of a computer;
