Quota |

The existence of a healthy, efficient national economy is critical to the health of the nation as a whole. A healthy economy should involve a wide variety of industries and professions, with a general level of self-sufficiency in all skill bases. |

To assist, the nation shall use quotas to limit the import or harvest of certain goods and service relating to the nation. |

The price for items should be as competitive as possible to enable Men, women and corporations of the nation to maximize their spending power and general quality of life. |

To assist the nation shall use tariffs to increase the import cost of certain items into the nation. |

Dumping risk markets and fragile strategic industries |
|
| |
Quotas shall generally be focused on addressing anti-dumping of artificially low priced items into the nations markets. Quotas shall also generally be used to protect fragile industries that are in the strategic interest to maintain. |

Encouragement of import replacement industries |
|
| |
Tariffs shall generally be focused on addressing the early protection of import replacement industries regarded as strategically important for the nation. |

Executive power to set the national quota and tariff rates |
|

The Executive Government shall have the power to set quotas subject to the approval of both Houses of Parliament. |
